“We love because he first loved us” — 1 John 4:19

We’re about loving people.

Informed by generations of care, we include thoughtful details, and our support continues in the days and weeks afterwards. Our pricing philosophy is built on transparency and fairness — making it easy to get a quote and advice at the same time.

And our modest profits quietly help ease costs for families with limited means.

What families say

What is the funeral sector about? What should it be about?

Six generations of funeral service, international exposure to the sector, friends and personal experience have taught us what funerals should not be about.

Almost invariably, what drives the funeral sector is the margin or the volume — not what it should.

We are not the first to think this. (Perhaps you have thought this longer than we have).

This is not an industry for creating wealth. It should be about loving people - first.

We don't shy from a margin that's fair for all concerned — families and the people we work with. But the first priority really is about loving people.

How We Care for Families

From First Call to Ongoing Support

  1. Call us anytime - 24/7 availability, whether a death has occurred or is expected

  2. We bring your loved one into our care - from hospital, aged care, or home to a registered mortuary

  3. We handle all the details - death certificate, permits, paperwork; we keep you informed at each step

  4. Service and aftercare - whether cremation or burial, we provide support in the days and weeks beyond the funeral itself

Transparent Pricing, No Upselling

Only our professional service fee includes a modest profit - almost everything else is at cost. There's no incentive to upsell, only to care well.

Coffins and caskets carry only a nominal margin at our supplier's request - possibly the lowest pricing in the sector - giving families genuine choice without financial pressure.

Thoughtful Details, Standard for All

Personal touches are standard, not extras. With cremation, families can choose from 21 urn designs. With burial, we provide a basket of rose petals for the committal.

Every funeral includes what families naturally expect: a celebrant, minister, or priest; a respectful coffin; flowers; guest book; and slideshow (like the one pictured).

Even small gestures matter: a thoughtfully designed guest book, quality pens, tissues and mints at the welcome table - because care shows in the details.

Optional additions - such as printed orders of service - are clearly outlined in our price guides.

Support That Continues

Our care extends beyond the funeral itself. We help organize death certificates promptly, connect families to local GriefShare support groups where available, and provide resources for the weeks that follow - because grief doesn't end when the service does.

Extending Care to Others

Thanks to families who pay the usual fee, we're able to offer the same level of care to those with limited means.

Our colleagues earn well above industry standards, and suppliers' invoices are settled quickly - because love should guide every part of what we do.

Choosing a Funeral Director?

A Simple Family Guide

When families face loss, they're vulnerable - emotionally and through inexperience. The funeral sector easily relies on families not knowing what funeral directors know. We believe you deserve comprehensive information — expressed clearly and simply — before, during, and after engaging us.

This quick guide helps you understand your options so you can make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

It draws on six generations in funeral service, international insight, and personal loss.

Find Your Local Price and Care Guide

We know pricing can be confusing. Some providers list prices that, while technically compliant with regulations, are difficult to make sense of. Others say "all-inclusive" but don't include what most families actually want. This can leave families feeling unsure.

We want to make prices and options clearer.

For a general idea, here's a quick look at starting prices - these vary depending on the region and what's needed:

  • Cremation-only from $2,699

  • Funeral followed by cremation from $6,499

  • Funeral followed by burial from $6,399 (cemetery fees not included)

Our pricing reflects local conditions but remains grounded in fairness and transparency.
