Before founding Marc and Friends, Marc had the privilege of caring for families across Sydney’s scenic Lower and Upper North Shore at various times since 2004. Marc’s friends, Anelle and Phil, are available to serve families on the North Shore.

While there were some years his work took him elsewhere, Marc has served families in or near areas such as Castlecrag, Chatswood, Epping, Gordon, Greenwich, Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Kirribilli, Lane Cove, Macquarie Park, Mosman, Neutral Bay, North Ryde, Northbridge, Pymble, St Leonards, Turramurra, Wahroonga, and Wollstonecraft.

Service Options with Personal Touches and Care

Whatever arrangements you choose — whether a cremation-only service, a funeral and cremation, or a funeral and burial — we offer thoughtful touches of care.

How We Care for Every Family

  • Each cremation includes a choice of urns, suitable for keeping or for scattering with dignity if desired.

  • Every burial includes a basket of rose petals for family and friends to sprinkle on the coffin or casket.

  • Families arranging a funeral can also choose from coffins and caskets offered at cost, including a distinctive option locally handcrafted from recycled timber.

From the welcome table on the day of the service, we offer quiet care from the very first moment.

Whether or not you choose to have a funeral service, our support continues gently in the weeks that follow, through thoughtful aftercare.

Thanks to families who pay the usual fee, we’re also able to extend the same level of care to those in financial need.

Chapels

Since 2004, Macquarie Park has provided purpose-built chapels in a contemporary setting. The main chapels have been refurbished in recent years to enhance natural light and comfort.

The three main chapels are spacious yet adaptable, seating up to 200 guests, with additional covered outdoor seating for 100+ guests and external screens. Large windows along one side bring in natural light, while a skylight above the coffin softly illuminates the space, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Families holding smaller gatherings often arrange seating closer to the lectern to create a more personal setting.

For more private services, the Rose Chapel seats 35 guests, while the Lotus Pavilion offers an open-air option for up to 140 guests. Following the service, a cremation can take place on-site, or a burial can be arranged within the cemetery grounds.

The Wallumatta Function Centre is equally well-designed, offering a modern, light-filled space with a scenic outlook and level access.
