Help with Funeral Costs
For Families Referred by an Organisation that Knows Us

We believe a funeral is a service before it’s a business.
Most families choose our standard fees. Their choice makes it possible for us to offer Funeral Cost Support to families facing financial hardship — we cannot sustain these lower prices without that support.
We already offer a discount to families with limited means. There is a greater discount when a family is referred by an organisation we have an informal arrangement with.
Payment is needed before we can make arrangements. If you do not have the money, there are different ways you might be able to make it possible – see here.

Things to know

* If the person who died weighs more than 80 kgs, a larger coffin may be needed. The biggest one is $695.
** This is not a personalised address prepared by Marc. Families are welcome to speak or to provide a eulogy for Marc to read. The alternative is a Civil celebrant, Minister, Priest or Pastor from $450.

^^ Additional staff are $300 each if needed — for example, if there are not enough family members or friends to help carry the coffin, if the church has steps, or if the coffin is larger than standard. We will let you know if this is the case.

Things to know
Once you have chosen one, you will need to contact them to make a time to select a burial plot.
All cemetery fees need to be paid upfront, including plot and grave-digging fees.
If you would like a church service, you are welcome to arrange a memorial service after the burial.
